Hi all, I am new to this forum and was so happy to find others who have labyrinthectomy surgery for Meniere's Disease. The surgery stopped the horrific vertigo but I still have balance issues which requires the use of a cane when out in public.  Something about the more open space, lights, and people coming from all directions.  I also still have problems with fatigue and today is one of those days.  I had a nap earlier and then cooked our dinner.  Still feeling wiped out.  Can't wait until it's bedtime! LOL

I had lost most of the hearing in my left ear prior to the laby surgery and now am totally deaf in that ear.  I've been through 2 rounds of physical therapy for balance improvement, but really can't tell it did much.

So nice to be here among those who also have the symptoms of this disease, even after having laby surgery.  At least I know I'm not alone.
